Located in Central Victoria, the aptly named Goldfields region is home to some of Victoria’s largest and historically important inland towns. These towns have grown from the prosperous gold rush years of the mid 1800’s and with beautifully preserved architecture and wide streetscapes, still retain a pioneering charm.

Popular places for visitors include Ballarat and the gold rush village Sovereign Hill as well as the historical town of Bendigo.
